    Urgent repairs and intensive patch works for the MDRs and State Highways roads –
    Sanction of Rs.290.40 Crores - Administrative Sanction - Accorded – Orders -
    Issued.

    Read the following:-

    1. From the TR&B Department, e-file No.TRB01-RDBS0MISC/288/2024-


    ROADS-I, Computer No: 2518804.
    2. G.O.Rt.No.2082, Finance (FMU-Revenue) Department, dt:10.09.2024.

    ORDER:

    In the reference 1st read above, TR&B Department while forwarding the
    proposals of the ENC (R&B) MDRs, Vijayawada has stated that the MDR and State
    Highway Roads are badly damaged due to Heavy Rains/Floods, July, 2024
    throughout the State and requested for sanction of Rs.290.40 Crores towards to
    meet the requirement of the urgent repairs and intensive patch works for the MDR
    and State Highways roads under SDRF norms.

    2. The Finance Department in the GO 2nd read above have issued BRO for
    release of an amount of Rs.2,90,40,00,000/- as additional funds in relaxation of
    treasury control and quarterly regulation orders pending appropriation of funds by
    including in the final budget 2024-25 towards meeting the requirement of the urgent
    repairs and intensive patch works for the MDRs and State Highways roads under
    SDRF norms.

    3. After consideration of the request of the TR&B Department / ENC (R&B)


    MDRs, Vijayawada, Government hereby accord administrative sanction for an
    amount of Rs.2,90,40,00,000/- (Rupees Two hundred ninety crore forty lakh only)
    under SDRF norms towards meeting the requirement of the urgent repairs and
    intensive patch works for the MDRs and State Highways roads during Heavy
    rains/ Floods, July-2024.

    4. The amount sanctioned at para (3) above shall be debited to the following
    head of Account:

    “M.J.H. 2245 - Relief on Account of Natural Calamities


    S.M.J.H. 02 - Floods, Cyclones etc.,
    M.H. 106 - Repairs and Restoration of Damaged Roads and Bridges
    S.H. 04 - Repairs and Restoration of Damaged Roads and Bridges
    D.H. 270 - Minor Works
    S.D.H. 272 – Maintenance.

    5. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), MDRs, Vijayawada is authorized to draw the


    amount sanctioned in para (3) above, subject to the following conditions:

    i. The amount shall be utilized for the purpose it is sanctioned.


    ii. The unspent balances, if any, shall be remitted forthwith to the Government
    account.
    iii. Consolidated utilization certificates shall be furnished for the amount released
    duly verified by the Andhra Pradesh State Audit Authorities.

    6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O.
    No.FIN01-FMU0ASD(TRBD)/7/2024-FMU-TR-B, Computer No. 2530068,
    Dated:11.09.2024.
