Right Triangle
1. Pythagorean Theorem
1) Two vertical poles are 14 feet apart. One is 16 feet tall, and the
other is 9 feet tall. A rope extends straight from the top of one pole
to the top of the other pole. How long is the rope?
2) One leg of a right triangle is 3cm more than 3 times the other leg,
and the hypotenuse is 1cm longer than the longest leg. Find the

top of the ladder is 24 feet from the ground. Then, Nathan moves
the base of the ladder farther out from the wall so that the top of

Circles
4) Anna and Betty are 180 yards apart, at points A and B in the

3. Tangent
