Topic 8: TAKING CARE OF THE BODY SYSTEMS

INTRODUCTION

It's very important to take care of your different body systems because they transport
materials to and from the body, break up your food for absorption into the blood, help you
breath, control mental and bodily functions, support and protect your body, help you move,
and ove.

Objective: To identify habits that allow the body systems function properly.

THEM WORK PROPERLY

To practice good healthy habits to maintain body systems to work properly.


In order to keep our bodysystems working well, we have to the followingthings:

1. Eat healthy food. Don't eat much sweet,fat or junk food. They can
cause diabetes.

2. Do exercises regularly. That can prevent diseases like heart


attacks, strokes, etc.

3. Control your weight.

4. Do not smoke or drink alcoholic drinks.

5. Protect your skin from the sun.

6. Go to your dentist periodically.

7. Have regular checkups with your doctor.

INTRODUCTION
This years 2020-2021 has been a terrible two years for people all over the
world. The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has brought a lot of problems to

governments and countries. The economy has almost stopped and the
governments do not have ways to keep businesses open because the
transmissionof the virus is bigger when people get together in restaurants,
offices, airports, schools,etc. That is why people are asked to stay home and
consequently many of them have lost their jobs.

This COVID-19 pandemic is a virus disease for which there isn't any
vaccine or treatment to stop people from getting infected. Big
