Corporate Finance Manager with nine plus years of experience in Financial Planning

Work Experience:
I. Currently working with UPL Limited as Associate Lead – FP&A (Sept 21 till date) India
region managing team of 2 and handling business finance role. Closely working with corporate
finance, sales and marketing teams to evaluate pricing of products, prepare annual budget,
rolling forecast, making monthly MBR deck and work on automating manual reports. Strategic
role to grow business and provide insights to management. Completed restructuring/demerger
of separate entity for crop protection business by closely finalizing due-diligence for valuation
and closure of deal with PE investors. Fluent in SAP, Power BI and other visualization tools.
Involved in review of all accounting operations and work closely with Big 4 auditors for book
closing activities. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
and report variances along with ensuring controls over financial transactions.
II. Worked with Tata Steel (June 19 to Sept 21), one of the major steel conglomerate as
Manager- Finance from June 19. Areas of dealing includes making consolidated group budget,
review outlook on periodic basis and while involving in detailed variance analysis while
engaging with global stakeholders. Assisting in investor presentations on quarterly basis along
with handling banking relationship to raise funds (Domestic term and working capital lines, INR
Bonds, Foreign currency transactions) and monitor the interest cost on regular basis.
III. Worked with Syngenta as Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis (From
Dec 2016 to June 19) into below:
Prepare Management Review Deck on monthly basis focusing on business highlights &
financials and supporting S&OP team to ensure smooth flow of business operations.
Preparing monthly rolling forecast whilst understanding and challenging business
assumptions to improve forecasting accuracy.
Monitor P&L by product lines on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis & analyze market
performance.
Accountable for Functional Cost Analysis & Reporting and participate in global meeting.
Prepare detailed decks for Regional Leadership Team focusing on key product line -
measuring actual performance with Budget with emphasis on year to go details.
IV. Worked with Suzlon Energy Limited as Assistant Manager/Trainee - Corporate Finance (Oct
2014- Nov 2016) dealing in:
Budgeting of finance cost, Business planning and controlling. Understanding the renewable
business segment.
Preparation of CMA data/ credit appraisal note of various Banks and FI’s and involvement
in JLMs
Assisting Formalities related to renewal / enhancement of Working Capital Limits.
Assisted in External Credit Rating process carried out by organization
