ABOUT ADVANCED INTERNATIONAL AVIATION ACADEMY
AIA Academy is a FAA certified CFR 141 Flight Training Academy, approved by DGCA and rated as one of the best flight training academies in the
world. Our training campus is located in Sacramento, in the sunny, beautiful “golden state” of California USA. AIA Academy is 8 time consecutive
winner of AOPA ” Flight Training Excellence” award and “ Distinguished School” award, out of 1542 competing flight schools, globally. We are "the
favorite” training school for many leading international airlines and cadet programs. Our quality of training definitely matters, especially when your
job as an airline captain requires you to be responsible for many passengers lives, make quick, critical decisions and handle complex situations. Initial
pilot training is the most important because it is the foundation of your pilot skills, leadership skills, safety, and decision making skills and knowledge.
AIA is approved by US Dept. of Homeland Security, US Dept. of Transportation Security Administration & SEVIS for International student VISA and
training.
Our Career Airline Pilot Training [CAPT] program has a 100% success rate and first attempt success rate of over 96% in all FAA licensing tests. The
training facilities and programs are refined and advanced to provide you with the best pilot training to become a professional airline pilot. Our
training is designed to optimize learning, save time and money for the students by completing the courses in shorter time and cost, using effective
combination of online and classroom programs for ground training, digital cockpit airplanes, and flight simulators for practical training. Due to our
high training standards, AIA is certified by FAA to complete the entire commercial pilot course in 120 hours of training in the airplane with 70 hours in
certified flight simulator, with a total of 190 hours training. For international students who wish to convert to DGCA licenses, we tailor the course to
achieve the 200 airplane flight hour pre-requisite with 15 hours in multi-engine airplane.
The Career Airline Pilot Training Course is designed to be completed in 6-8 months, depending on students abilities. Instructor student ratio is 1:6 and
airplane student ratio is 1:5, so students get personalized attention and teaching from the instructors with high airplane availability for smooth flight
scheduling. The great California weather with 330 days of blue skies a year, with no extreme cold or hot weather, help students complete the course
fast without any flight cancellations. On the other hand, other states such as Florida or Texas have frequent bad weather.
AIA airplanes are maintained in immaculate condition by our FAA certified CFR 145 Commercial Aircraft Repair Station. Most schools do not have this
facility & capability. Our advanced training procedures and FAA certified maintenance have proven to keep safety at the highest level with “zero”
accident history. Our students safety is our highest priority. We customize the training for each student to suit the individuals learning ability,
learning pace, cognitive, psycho-motor skills, comfort level, and confidence to ensure their successful training. AIA Academy’s team of highly
experienced and carefully selected instructors have extensive experience in airline and Air Force instructional experience. Do you want to be a
mediocre pilot who got a license or an exceptional pilot? Come join our team and be exceptional!

Flight training environment and facilities are extremely important for the quality of learning. You could be
training in a school at a small airport with no facilities such as control tower, instrument approaches, GPS
approach etc.. However, in a school like ours located in a big city with well-equipped airport and several airports
around with all these facilities. Our students get to practice their flying in many different types of airspaces
and airports including international airports, making their training very diverse and complete.
There are no user fees or landing fees in California airports, unlike the heavy fees for each landing in
Australia or New Zealand airports. When you pay landing fees and user fees, you can imagine how many
practice landings the student will be permitted by school, compared to when its free!!
Training from small airports compared to large busy airports is like, learning to drive only in the village back
roads, to learning to drive in the back roads and cities! Since our students train in diverse types of airports,
our students become very comfortable flying in any busy airspace or high traffic environment, like
international airports. This is ideal for airline pilot training.
CAMPUS & TRAINING RESOURCES
AIA Academy is located at 6151 Freeport Blvd. Ste. 158-166, in Sacramento, CA, in our 24,000 sq. ft. historic
building and hangar at the Sacramento Executive Airport. The hangar itself is the original airport building, which
used to be a United Airlines terminal and hangar. The campus has ample parking and a restaurant with campus
24/7 security. In addition, there are many restaurants, stores, fitness centers, bowling allies, and leisure activities
within walking distance. Students can use the local FAA testing center at the school for all their FAA licensing
tests. The FAA main office is only 2 miles from our facility.
The Sacramento Executive Airport (KSAC) has a fully operational control tower and all the facilities for training
and commercial operations such as multiple runways, runway lights, approach lights, VASI, PAPI, and multiple
instrument approaches. There are over 15 airports within a 100-mile radius that we use for our training, including
3 international airports.
We are conveniently located near Downtown Sacramento – 10 minutes. San Francisco, Napa,, Oakland, Stockton – 1.hour
Santa Rosa – 1.2 hours, Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts – 1.5 hours, Reno-Nevada and Casinos – 2.2 hour.. Santa Cruz – 2.2 hours

Students excel with our advanced training and multi-crew training in FAA certified
flight simulators such as ALSIM & FRASCA. These simulators are a valuable training
tool for students to practice flights in all conditions in all airports. Various training can
be performed such as system failures, emergency procedures, weather managements,
and operating the aircraft as Single Engine, Multi Engine, Turbo Prop, and Jet!
FAA-CERTIFIED FLIGHT SIMULATOR - FRASCA
AIA students train on FAA approved FRASCA Flight simulators to enhance their instrument flight

• Flying weather - Sacramento has good weather for flying 90% of the year, with over 320
days of clear blue skies. The climate is just great with no extreme type of weather. The
temperatures are moderate and not extreme like “hot burning summers and freezing
snowy winters in Texas” or “Hot Sultry and rainy Florida with hurricanes almost half the
year.“ Good weather is extremely important for successful flight training with consistency,
continuity and safety of flights.

TRAINING PROCESS - 2
Before each flight lesson you would need to prepare by reading, watching videos etc. about the learning aspects of lesson. Onthe day of the lesson
you will be briefed by your instructor about the learning objectives of the flight and standards. He/She will then educate you both ground and flight to
achieve the knowledge and skills. After the flight lesson , your instructor will debrief you on the flight, your performance andcorrections that are
needed. This is done in a building block process, starting with basics and advancing at the pace of your learning.
For each license or certification you would be required to complete the prescribed number of ground & flight lessons.
You would also be required to achieve the knowledge and skill level required for the FAA written test and practical flight test. The standards of testing
are published by FAA and you will be tested accordingly by the FAA examiner. When you have reached the required level of skill and knowledge for the
test, your instructor will certify to the examiner that you have achieved al the prerequisites for the written test and flight test. Then, the examiner
provides a testing appointment.
On the day of each practical test, you would need to provide the examiner with your written test results and log book confirmingthat all the required
training for that license or rating has been completed.
The examiner will then spend 1 to 2 hours discussing the knowledge subjects with you to ascertain your level of knowledge andunderstanding. If he is
satisfied with your knowledge, he will then take you for the flight test. During the flight test the examiner will require you to perform the prescribed
flight maneuvers that you have been trained in, to the testing standards.
If you perform within the FAA test standards, you will be approved by the examiner for issuance of the license or rating. If youdid not achieve the
testing standards, the examiner will request you to undergo corrective training and attempt the test again. AIA has a 96% pass rate in first attempt for all
