IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Congratulations! Your application for the CQUniversity International Merit Scholarship has been approved!
This scholarship provides a 25% reduction on your tuition fees for the duration of your studies, as long as you remain enrolled in full-
time study for the course and intake specified in your Letter of Offer and adhere to the scholarship's terms and conditions.
To keep your International Merit Scholarship, you must pay all tuition and fees in full each term according to CQUniversity policy.
Failure to pay these fees, having an academic progression level 3 condition, cancelling your enrolment, or not complying with your
student visa conditions may result in the withdrawal of your scholarship. If you cancel your studies before completion or transfer to
another education provider, you may be required to repay the scholarship fees for completed terms. If your admission offer to
CQUniversity expires or you request a deferral of your start date, the scholarship will lapse, and you will need to submit a new
application. Eligibility for the scholarship will be reassessed if you defer your admission.
Please note that the scholarship is not redeemable for cash and can be withdrawn with 10 days' written notice for any breach of
terms. If notified of a scholarship withdrawal, you have 10 days to appeal the decision.
Please note: The terms and conditions of the International Merit Scholarship may change at any time, and you will receive 20
working days' written notice of any changes. For questions regarding the scholarship terms, please contact the Student Experience
team at your campus.
Your safety is our top priority. For any OSHC policies scheduled through CQUniversity (from 01 May 2023), students will have the
added benefit of membership to student safety support service provided by Bupa Australia - powered by Student Parachute at no
additional cost to provide our students with 24/7 on-demand support. Once you have commenced at the University, you will be able
to access this support via the Student Parachute app where a team of trained professional staff are ready to respond to your safety
and well being needs, anywhere in Australia.
TUITION FEES
Fees are determined by CQUniversity annually and are subject to change. The fees that are payable in future years will be those
that have been approved for that calendar year and may be different to those listed in your offer letter. Your offer letter lists the
indicative annual fee (for two academic/study terms) and the offer acceptance deposit fee payable when you accept your offer.
Commencing students will be charged the relevant tuition fees as per the approved schedule for that year, and fees may increase
each year. Units from a different discipline area will attract tuition fees at the applicable rate: this may increase/decrease your annual
tuition fees. The other non-tuition fees applicable for the course are outlined in the CQUniversity Handbook
https://handbook.cqu.edu.au
** Please note that the fees mentioned in the acceptance table are the minimum standard deposit payable and are an indicative
figure that is required to obtain the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE). Students will still need to meet the Genuine Student (GS)
criterion which includes the Financial Assessment prior to finalisation of Acceptance of Offer.
Please note that any credit pre-assessment advised in this offer is a provisional pre-assessment only. The number of credits
awarded can be subject to change as dependent upon any changes to course structures, successful completion of study and
various other external factors. All credit pre-assessments will be reviewed at the point of enrolment in the student's first term of
study. For more information on Credit transfers and the Credit for Prior Learning in Higher Education Policy and Procedure, please
