years are found to be 1000m3/s and 1200m3/s respectively. Find the magnitude of flood of 900
yrs of return period. Take the reduced mean and reduced standard deviation in Gumbel’s extreme
value distribution for n=20 as 0.5362 and 1.1124 respectively
What are the 95% and 85% confidence limits for this estimate if f(95%)=1.96 and f(85%)=1.28
