MAVOKO SUSTAINABLE NEIGHBOURHOOD PROJECT (SNP),

Completion of Pending electrical works

Reference is made to the above project.
The project was completed, and the housing units have been allocated to various
beneficiaries who have commenced occupancy.
Installation of electricity meters for the various units and facilities is currently
underway by K.P.L.C. However, according to their records, REF No:
N21452020080001 the contractor submitted four hundred and fifty two (452)
wiring certificates. [Link].C was therefore contracted to install (452) No. of the
required (500) No. of electricity meters.
Further, it had been decided that the installation of electrical earth rods would be
carried out at a later, more suitable date, post-allocation. This decision had been
made due to concerns regarding the security of these devices during the period
following the handover and beneficiary occupation.
A meeting has been scheduled for 4th October, 2023 at K.P.L.C Mlolongo branch
office to deliberate on the matter as well as a site visit to plan on execution of the
pending works.
This is therefore to request that you’re adequately represented.
