    Master of Science( M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from University of Panjab, Lahore in the year 1971.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 33 years at following positions:

     (Sep,2005 till date): In charge Environmental Lab, SGS Pakistan Ltd, Karachi.
     (Jan,2005 – June,2005}: General Manager, Global Environmental Lab, Karachi.
     (June, 1996 to Jan, 2004): PTA Environmental Society, Karachi.
    As “Lab. Incharge” to supervise the quality control work of Pilot An-aerobic Wastewater
    Treatment Plant ( UASB based An-aerobic Reactor) and its associated water/wastewater work in
    the Environmental Lab.
     (Oct, 1980 - Jan, 1995): Water & Sewerage Department, Eastern Province, Saudi
    Arabia.

    As “Lab. Supervisor” to Supervise following jobs:


    1. Chemical Analyses of all types of Water Resources from Brackish Wells to De-salinated water
    supplies from Azizia and Jubail Desalination plants.

    2. Chlorination of all types of Water Sources distributed to Dammam City Water Network.
    3. Bacteriological Examination of all types of Water Sources/Net. Works.
    4. Disinfection of Newly Constructed Water Mains, Branched Lines and Lateral lines up to the House
    connection followed by Bacteriological Examination of water.
    5. Physical, Chemical & Bacteriological Examination of Influent, Intermediates and Final effluent of
    Dammam City Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) based on Mechanical Aeration of Wastewater with
    activated sludge , designed and constructed by MetCalf & Eddy Incorp, Waikfield , Mass, U.S.A.
     (July, 1973 - Oct, 1980): Pakistan Customs Chemical Laboratories, Karachi.
    As “Senior Chemist” where all types of Imported/Exported Products are Analyzed before
    evaluation of Custom duty. I have Testing & Analytical Experience in the following Products:

     Sulfides in water/wastewater comprising Sulfide Dilution Techniques & its New Method Generation.
     Sulfate in water/wastewater based on measurement of BaSO4 Turbidity Photo metrically.
     Determination of Chromium/Chrome in water/wastewater with particular reference to Tannery
    waste discharges.
     Macro-determination of Chromium in Chrome Powder/Chrome waste liquors without drastic
    digestion with Strong Acids such as Per choric, Sulfuric and Nitric Acids etc.
     Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) of Solids such as Sand, Clay, Earth wares & Soils etc with
    particular emphasis on Soil Environment.
     Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in water/wastewater by Modified Closed Reflux Photometric
    Method.

    COMPUTER LITERACY:
