Species

- All

Within enumeration site 1% of the plants will be taken for health measurement in terms of height and girth at breast /collar height, subject to a minimum of 10 plants under each species

20

Sampling Method :

Stratified Random sampling

Basis for Stratification :

Altitude Model of plantation Age of plantation Geographic representation

Sample intensity
For plantation Enumeration 30% of plantation 15% of area coverage

GPS location 100% of plantation For Check dam 15% For other works (Forest & Rural infrastructure)- 20%
21

A centralised office will be established in Bilashpur for coordinating the field works A team of investigators from civil engg, forestry and sociology background will be deputed for field work About 30% of the field work will be conducted / supervised by the core team members Geographical coordinates of plantation sites will be recorded through GPS instrument and compared PRA will be conducted through checklist of issues and mapping of the areas will be made for pre and post intervention status
