ASSIGNMENT METHOD
Presented by: Group 7- BM 103BAE
What is ASSIGNMENTMETHOD?
.. It..is a program used in linear programming is it a normal assignment that is hated by students? that is loved by businessmen It is concerned in allocating the jobs to each of the workers for MINIMUM COST or MAXIMUM REVENUES
- Is a problem of assigning n workers to n jobs, in such a way that a worker is assigned to only one job. The workers assigned to it and the cost of all jobs will be minimized. - Is the standard procedure for solving problem on the basis of the assignment table. - Getting the least time in some situations also uses Assignment method
FYI
For those who are disturbed (even us, reporters are disturbed) by our last exam on what is the other name for assignment method.
....it is FLOODS TECHNIQUE (yehey for those who have guessed it right!)
3. Cover the zero entries by vertical or horizontal lines, using the least number of lines possible. Subtract the smallest uncovered cost from each uncovered cost but add it to the entry found at the intersection of the lines.
Engineering Works.
Five
REQUIRED: Find the cost of allocation of the variable to the five workers.
