HAND OPERATED WINCHES comes from the term winch which refers to a stationary hand-powered machine used for hoisting or hauling A winch has a drum around which it is wound to a rope or chain that is attached to the load being moved It can also refer a crank used to give motion to a grindstone

specifications Economical because the mechanism is simple and it is easy to operate Efficiency is reliable and ergonomics Simple fabrication and the maintenance can be made with someone who has little or no experience at all
Environmental friendly because it didnt need any electricity or power to turn it on. No engine needed whatsoever. No engine means no smoke and that also means no pollution
It just needed someone who can pull the handle with less energy than to pull it without using any machines. Therefore, it is energy efficient.
application
variety of application that can be used anywhere such as on cars, lorry, buses, even tractors like in figure above
