Grooming refers to the things that people do to keep themselves clean and make their face, hair, and skin look nice. Personal grooming (also called titivating and preening) is the art of cleaning, grooming, and maintaining parts of the body. It is a species-typical behavior that is controlled by neural circuits in the brain
Remember that you represent the nursing profession at all times whether at work or at play. Your clothes, hygiene, actions, and behaviors are always on display. This can be an intense responsibility and unfair at times, perhaps, but something you must be aware of.
