Printing facility will be available in all the reports
developed in BaaN. A typical report in BaaN
opens as shown below.

ASCIF for creating a soft copy of

directory in BaaN server. The next

Help in BaaN
BaaN provides extensive help for all the

fields and sessions available for users to
work effectively. This help will be available
for almost all standard BaaN sessions.

Access control in BaaN
Access means rights given to a user to use BaaN sessions

and data.
Following are important access control possible in BaaN.
Access through DEM browser where a person can run only

those sessions which are attached to the DEM.
Package , module and Session level access where any
restriction in the above will not be accessible to the user
Database level access wherein any database restriction will not
allow user to either read, write or insert that data through the
sessions.
L&T Hazira has implemented all the above type of restrictions.

ask for new password. Please enter required
new password and then confirm it.
Using Queries in BaaN

In BaaN , to search required data in
any display or Maintain sessions , one
of the popular and easy method is to
use queries. Following slides will show
you how to do simple queries in BaaN
