    Comparative Form

    La forma comparativa
    We use comparative adjectives when we compare two
    people, animals or things.
    To form the comparative We add / -r / -er / ier
    Examples:
    small smaller

    nice nicer
    + r/er/ier
    big bigger than
    funny funnier More +
    colorfull more colorfull adjective
    All one-syllable and most two syllable adjectives take er.
    clean cleaner
    fast faster
    One-syllable adjectives ending in e, take r.
    nice nicer

    One-syllable adjectives ending in one vowel + consonat,
    double the consonat before the -er.
    hot hotter
    big bigger
    Adjectives with three or more syllables and some-two
    syllables adjectives take more + adjective.

    good - better
    Bad - worse
    many / much - more
    far farther / further

    It isnt as heavy as I thought it would be.
    Rory hasnt grown as tall as Tommy yet.
    Pepito didnt run as fast as Luchito.
