City as sustainable and dynamic system
 “The history of the world is the history of the city,,Aceski
 Robert Park noted, "The city is human most consistent and generally
taken, successful attempt to recreate the world in which people
lives, closer to its desires. The city is a world that is created by man,
therefore a world in who is condemned to live., So indirect without
direct intent, creating the city, man is created himself again, and the
city is more than a mixture of collective equipment, streets,
buildings, electric lighting, travel, telephone. The city, above all is
state of the spirit, the sum of customs and traditions, established
attitudes and feelings that are inextricably linked to these customs
and are transmitted with tradition.

Discussion and conclusion
The information emerged from the survey indicates that urban parks fulfils important human needs.
Results approved people’s need to experience nature(Kaplan and Kaplan,1989) The needs of green spaces
where noise is reduced ,air quality is better and temperature is more pleasant is also indicator why green
spaces should be increases.
Nature, also provide clear benefits to people, decreasing green spaces can have serious socio-economic
consequences. Failure to provide the restorative and psychological benefits of access to parks and green
spaces in the city can have substantial health costs in the long run (Thompson, 2002).
Urban development in the cities should include more projects about public spaces and green open areas,
as well as more citizens’ engagement, because they know best about their living environments. Results
also showed that it`s important to obtain cultural development as one of the important aspects for
sustainable development. City planners and urban designers in future should take into consideration that
open spaces are used from different groups, so to fulfil the needs and expectations of all the segments of
the population (children, families, elderly people, people with disabilities etc.).All the characteristic of this
group should be included in planning.
Conclusion
In the context of this study, Ecological and sociological aspects in urban green regeneration as positive and
importance for neighborhood has been addressed.
Citizens support projects which promotes more ecological style of living, as more walking, renewable
energy, less using of cars,. Also for them is important to live in municipality that has rich cultural life. This
combination is considered to improve quality of life for all groups in municipality. They recognize when
some projects are not beneficial for them. And what is important that are willing to take part in decision
making processes.
