GAS ABM HUMSS STEM
The bar graph shows that among the four Senior High School strands of Grade 11 students in West
Visayas State University, HUMSS has the highest satisfaction level and ABM has the lowest.
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels of different strands of Grade 11
students according to peers, teachers, and school facilities?
Peers
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students from different strands on peers were gathered and
analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results from ANOVA test show
that the level of significance (Sig.) is .002, which is <.05, therefore the analysis is deemed significant.
This also showed the rejection of the null hypothesis, therefore there is significant difference among the
satisfaction levels of different strands of Grade 11 students according to peers.
Scale:
1.000-1.999 Very Dissatisfied 2.000-2.999 Dissatisfied 3.000-3.999 Neutral 4.000-4.999 Satisfied 5.000 Very Satisfied
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels of different strands of Grade 11
students according to peers, teachers, and school facilities?
TEACHERS
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students from different strands on teachers were gathered and
analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results from ANOVA test show
that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 504, which is >.05, therefore the analysis is deemed insignificant.
This also shows the acceptance of the null hypothesis, therefore there is no significant difference among the
satisfaction levels of different strands of Grade 11 students on their teachers.
SCHOOL FACILITIES
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students from different strands on school facilities were gathered
and analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results from ANOVA test
show that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 598, which is >.05, therefore the analysis is deemed insignificant.
This also shows the acceptance of the null hypothesis, therefore there is no significant difference among the
satisfaction levels of different strands of Grade 11 students according to school facilities.
Scale:
1.000-1.999 Very Dissatisfied 2.000-2.999 Dissatisfied 3.000-3.999 Neutral 4.000-4.999 Satisfied 5.000 Very Satisfied
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels grouped according to peers,
teachers, and school facilities within the strands of Grade 11 students?
GAS
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students within the GA Strand on peers, teachers, and school
facilities were gathered and analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).
Results from ANOVA test show that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 147, which is >.05, therefore the analysis is deemed
insignificant.
This also shows the acceptance of the null hypothesis, therefore there is no significant difference among the
satisfaction levels grouped according to peers, teachers, and school facilities within the GA Strand.
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels grouped according to peers,
teachers, and school facilities within the strands of Grade 11 students?
ABM
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students within the ABM Strand on peers, teachers, and school
facilities were gathered and analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).
Results from ANOVA test show that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 268, which is >.05, therefore the analysis is deemed
insignificant.
This also shows the acceptance of the null hypothesis, therefore there is no significant difference among the
satisfaction levels grouped according to peers, teachers, and school facilities within the ABM Strand.
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels grouped according to peers,
teachers, and school facilities within the strands of Grade 11 students?
HUMSS
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students within the HUMSS Strand on peers, teachers, and school
facilities were gathered and analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).
Results from ANOVA test show that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 001, which is <.05, therefore the analysis is deemed
significant.
This also shows the rejection of the null hypothesis, therefore there is a significant difference among the
satisfaction levels grouped according to peers, teachers, and school facilities within the HUMSS Strand.
Is there a significant difference among the satisfaction levels grouped according to peers,
teachers, and school facilities within the strands of Grade 11 students?
STEM
Using descriptive statistics, the mean scores of students within the STEM Strand on peers, teachers, and school
facilities were gathered and analyzed if there is a significant difference among them using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).
Results from ANOVA test show that the level of significance (Sig.) is . 097, which is >.05, therefore the analysis is deemed
insignificant.
This also shows the acceptance of the null hypothesis, therefore there is no significant difference among the
satisfaction levels grouped according to peers, teachers, and school facilities within the STEM Strand.
