Sarah Freeman Competency 1-9

• Behavior 1: "Make ethical decisions by applying


the standards of the NASW Code of Ethics,
Competency relevant laws and regulations, models for
1:Demonstrate ethical decision-making, ethical conduct of
research, and additional codes of ethics as

Professional • I would always demonstrate this behavior as a
Social Work professional by keeping a copy of
Behavior the NASW Code of ethics on hand . Also, by
keeping a copy of the Agencies policy and the
relevant laws and regulations that correspond
with the agency on hand.

to manage personal values and maintain

1:Demonstrate Ethical

Professional Behavior • I will always demonstrate this behavior as a
Social Work professional by being mindful of my
personal stereotypes, morals and values. And to
remember that it is always up to the client.
