    What is teenage pregnancy?

    Teenage pregnancy, also known as adolescent pregnancy, is


    pregnancy in a female under the age of 20.

    Teenage pregnancies are associated with social issues,


    including lower educational levels and poverty.
    POVERTY
    Poverty is the scarcity or the lack of a certain (variant) amount of
    material possessions or money. Poverty is a multifaceted concept, which
    may include social, economic, and political elements.

    These numbers echo the findings of the WHO: “Adolescent pregnancies are a global problem that
    occurs in high, middle, and low income countries. Around the world, adolescent pregnancies are more
    likely to occur in marginalized communities, commonly driven by poverty and lack of education and
    employment opportunities,” the report reads.

    At any rate, there is one thing that’s undeniably obvious here: that there are still young Filipino
    women who are getting pregnant at such a young age. This translates to women who are forced to
    either stop their education and raise a child, or in what’s arguably a worse case, find illegitimate
    means to terminate their pregnancies.

    methods of preventing pregnancy, as they may be too embarrassed or
    frightened to seek such information.

    Poverty can cause a lot. In cases, it leads to lack of education and surely
    results to ignorance. Poverty causes plenty of teenage women involve in
    prostitution to earn for their family, or sometimes what teenage women see in
    their parents they tend to do the same to.
    Freedom
    A person has a lot of choices in their entire lifetime. No one can really
    force someone to do something unless they want to. They have the will to do
    whatever they want to do. Freedom is often blinded because of the bliss of the
    moment.

    Voluntariness
    People always do something for a reason. May it be because of themselves
    or for others. No matter the action, if the person agrees to do that action then it is
    voluntary. Being to volunteer to such actions might be caused because of the
    other said factors.
