GEOGRAPHY

╸ It is the study of the features of the earth and the


location of living things on the planet.
╸ From the Greek word “geographia”, from “geo”
meaning "earth" and “graphe” meaning "to
describe."

Physical geography is geography from the perspective
of earth sciences and as a branch of the natural
sciences.

It includes the study of soil, landforms, water,


vegetation, minerals, and climate.

geography include climatology, meteorology, geodesy,
glaciology, hydrology, hydrography, geomorphology,

the concept of culture.
