Introduction

Through this search we want to know the degree of

knowledge that the student community has about a country
as famous as Australia.

We are concerned about being a multicultural linguistic

society, but we can not do so unless there is an intimate
immersion within other cultures.

 Speech to the Sydney Institute, 9 March 2016

 Multiculturalism is a reality of Australian society. We live it everyday: in our
cities and suburbs, in our schools and workplaces, on our buses and trains. In
all these places, Australians mix with those from different backgrounds.
 For the most part, we are comfortable with this reality. Surveys have
shown that public acceptance of multiculturalism has been
consistently high.

Conclusion
We realized that there is a little knowledge about a country
counted among the most representatives in the list of the english user
ones as the first language.
It is worrying that in a faculty like ours, the knowledge of
these cultures is so scarce.
Knowing at least the most important details about the main countries
that use the language that we're studying should be esential, in order to
developpe a correct use of the language, know the variations of the
language, and also be able to use it in a pragmatic way, not only
knowing the words as chunks of a speech, but know how to use them
depending of the context, to have always a conversation topic, and be
able to have the lexical range to express oneself whatever we are.
