Prayer
Let’s bow our head and pray to our God, Almighty…

Dear God, we thank you for this wonderful day you’ve

given to us. Thank you for the knowledge, wisdom and
all other wonderful blessings you shower on our lives
each day. Thank you for giving us life. For not because
of you, we may not be able to meet today. Please guide
us as we study this lesson.

We offer this prayer and all praise and glory to you,aenln:el:

Arithmetic Sequence
is a sequence where every term after the first term is
obtained by adding a constant.
Formula: wherein:
  𝐴 =1 𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚   𝐴 =𝑛𝑡h 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚
1 𝑛

𝑨𝒏 = 𝑨𝟏 + ( 𝒏 −𝟏 ) 𝒅 𝑛=𝑛𝑜 . 𝑜𝑓 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚 𝑑 =𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑜𝑛 𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒

Common difference

is the constant number added to the preceding term of the

arithmetic sequence. It can be calculated by subtracting
any 2 consecutive term in the arithmetic sequence

Arithmetic Means
Are the terms between any two nonconsecutive terms of
an arithmetic sequence
Formula: wherein:
  𝐴 =1 𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚   𝐴 =𝑛𝑡h 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚

Steps in solving the arithmetic mean

1. Identify the no. of terms in the arithmetic sequence.
2. Using the formula of arithmetic sequence solve for
the value of the common difference
