    Classic V completes projects faster
    It would be easy to increase dredging capacity by growing the size and weight of the dredger, but at the same
    time you would lose the excellent mobility, which is the key feature of an amphibious multipurpose dredger.
    The challenge has been to increase dredging capacity while keeping the dredger compact, mobile and robust
    at the same time. Watermaster Classic V combines power and functionality in a unique way.
    The size of Watermaster has stayed basically the same (20 tons) since the frst generation Classic I, but the
    dredging capacity has nearly tripled. The difference compared to Classic IV is +50 %

    URBAN DREDGING CONCEPT
    Slice and pump the soil containing trash
    The innovative Watermaster Urban Dredging Concept,
    includes patented technology.
    Enables suction dredging at debris-flled urban sites
    where only excavation work was previously possible.
    MAKE THE DEBRIS SMALLER
    The patented Watermaster Cutting Knife System
    Watermaster’s Cutter Pump has a unique, patented Cutting Knife System. The ideally shaped
    rotating cutter blade in front of the suction mouth, together with the stationary counter blades,
    slice the particles into smaller pieces that will then pass through the pump and pipeline.
    PREVENT BLOCKING THE PUMP
    Special counter blades for urban dredging
    When working in urban water areas, the Watermaster Cutting Knife System is equipped
    with special counter blades that significantly improve the capacity of dredging soils
    containing plastics and other trash. The particles are efficiently sliced into small enough
    pieces before entering the pump thus reducing blockages drastically
    EASY REMOTE CLEANING
    Continue dredging in minutes
    Watermaster is in a class of its own in urban dredging efciency, and that includes the
    periodical cleaning ofthe cutter crown and pump. This part of the urban dredging
    process slows other machines down. The dredging gauges in the cabin show the
    optimum time to start cleaning. Watermaster’s unique reversepumping capability allows
    the operator to remove small blockages from the pump remotely without exiting the
    cabin
    RAPID MANUAL CLEANING
    From deck. Removable cleaning plate
    When the blockage needs more attention, the whole Cutter Pump can be turned
    towards Watermaster’s own deck. The cleaning can be done by one person without
    assisting vessels. The easily removable cleaning plate on the suction pipe speeds things
    up even further. The dredging can continue quickly
    SUPERIOR DREDGING EFFICIENCY
    The IWOS advantages
    IWOS is a combination of features that raise Watermaster’s dredging efciency to its own level.
    Watermaster operates independently without separate anchors, wire-cables and assisting vessels.
    Watermaster covers a large area from each position which minimizes the need to reposition the
    machine and maximizes the productive dredging time (only 4% of the total work time goes to
    repositioning the machine). Conventional dredgers need tore position constantly and their pump
    system is not optimized for urban dredging. This leads to low dredging efficiency.Their wire-cables
    also need a lot of space, prohibiting their access to narrow urban water areas. In the case of large-
    sized debris or stones, Watermaster can quickly switch to backhoe dredging mode and remove the
    objects by excavating. If any piling, raking or hammering work is required, the versatile
    Watermaster can handle that, too.
