Jowee Alviar and Mon Punzalan
They started Team Manila Design Studio in a garage in 2001. They moved to a
different location in Makati, Manila, in 2005. The studio became a three-part
operation: graphic design upstairs, a storefront downstairs, and silk-screening in
the backyard. In 2005, they started a clothing brand, using graphic design and t-
shirts as "mediums to inspire the Philippines' visual culture“.
