What is USB Boot?
USB boot is the process of using a USB
storage device to boot or start a
computer’s operating system. It enables
computer hardware to use a USB storage
stick to get all essential system booting
information and files rather than the
standard/native hard disk or the CD
drive.
What is a Command Prompt?
A command prompt is the input field in a
text-based user interface screen for an
operating system or program. A prompt,
in this context, is something designed to
elicit an action. The command prompt
consists of a brief text string followed by
a blinking cursor, which is where the
user types commands.
