Aims of this module

The aim of the module is to:

• Develop an understanding on the Internet of Things at the


enterprise level: business applications, business models,
information architecture, and governance.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the students will be able to:

1. Explain IoT enabling technologies, IoT application infrastructure, IoT


business model, IoT security, methodology and analytics (C3, PLO2)

2. Identify IR 4.0 technologies in enterprise (A4, PLO6)

3. Adopt IoT issues including acceptance, security, privacy, and ethics in


enterprise level (A3, PLO11)

What is expected of you
• Attendance and Punctuality
• Class attendance is an individual student responsibility.
• Attendance is compulsory and valid medical certificates or letters from
parents /guardians must support any absence from class.
• Three lateness will be equal to one absence
• Attendance:
 Min 80% attendance requirement holds for BOTH Exam and IN
COURSE based assessments.
 Students have to Retake the module with attendance even if it’s a
100% coursework based assessment if they do not fulfil the minimum
attendance requirement.
• If there is a “No show” for the Exam, it will normally result in Retake
with attendance
