    7 Steps in Gospel Sharing

    Step 1: Invite Jesus in Prayer


    Step 2: Read the Gospel twice.
    Step 3: Say aloud three times (3x)
    the word, phrase or line that
    struck you most.
    Step 4: Reflect in silence the word
    phrase or line that struck you.
    Step 5: Faith Sharing
    Step 6: Common Word of Life
    (Commitment to live out the Word)
    Step 7: Closing Prayer
    Tips for a Meaningful
    GOSPEL Sharing

    S - ecrecy
    H - onesty
    A - cceptance
    R - espect
    E - mpathy
    Do’s and Don’ts
    • Use “ I ” when you share.
    • Do not preach, advice or butt-in
    just Listen.
    • Allow the Sharer to express his or
    her feelings.
    • Show a Gesture of Concern like
    tapping the shoulder or holding the
    hands, etc.
    • Be a Channel of Grace for others
    to encounter the Lord.
