GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Virtual classroom space

The Virtual Classes have now became an integral part of


the Education System.
Though the students are at home while attending these
classes, they are expected to strictly follow the Virtual
Class Protocol.

VIRTUAL CLASS PROTOCOLS

1. It is mandatory for the students to log in to the Virtual Class between


8:30 am to 8:50 am. No entries will be permitted after 8:55 am.
2. Attending all the live sessions of a day is mandatory in order to be
marked present. If a child fails to do so, he/she will be marked absent.
3. 85% attendance is compulsory in every subject.
4. If a student fails to complete the 85% attendance, he/she will be able to
appear for the Annual Exams only with the condonation of Director
(Academics)
5. Student must sit well groomed in a neat and silent surrounding with
strong network connection.

6. Students must sit with an appropriate posture, preferably on a Table – Chair.
7. Regularity and Punctuality should not be compromised at any point of time.
8. It has been observed that many students do not switch their cameras on
during the live sessions. Camera need to be compulsorily kept on during all
the lectures.
9. If there is any issue with the Camera of your device, please mark a mail and
inform the respective class teacher. Also ensure to get the issue resolved
within a week.
10. Microphones to be kept off (Mute Mode) unless some interaction is
required.
11. Students are expected to keep all books and school supplies handy and organized,
timetable wise, to avoid disruptions during class.
12. Virtual Class links should not be shared outside.

13. Students must not share the screen during live session except if asked by a
teacher.
14. The chat tab should be strictly used only for writing the queries. Writing
unnecessary stuff in the chat box, during classes is strictly prohibited.
15. Students must choose a decent desktop picture (Photo in School uniform/
Scenery). No fancy Desktop Picture and Virtual Background is permitted.
16. Virtual discipline must strictly be followed.
17. Parents must not interrupt during live classes. Their queries will not be attended
by the teachers during live classes. However parents can raise their concern via
mail to the concerned teacher or coordinator.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Language:

1. Medium of instruction and communication is English except in language classes.


2. Students will use formal language through the online sessions.
3. Use of offensive/invective language during sessions will result in removal of
student from the class/session

Please note:
Students are expected to adhere to all the norms mentioned for the online classes.
Failure to do so will lead to warning followed by removal from the meeting /session.

STUDY TIPS AND
GUIDELINES

• Prepare for the subject well in advance. Do not leave any topic for the last day, last minute.
• Prepare Notes. Notes help to go through the topics in details, in a well-organized way. They
help to memorize the subject in a systematic way.
• Make stick on notes of various formulas and place them on your study table. Try and read
and memorize these notes every time you pass the table.
• Do not study from various sources. Only stick to the CBSE or NCERT books. It will leave
no space for confusion.
• Solve a lot of question papers and sample papers to have a check on the knowledge you
possess.
• Finish the syllabus well in advance to leave enough room for revision. Revision is very
important to attempt board exams.

STUDY TIPS AND GUIDELINES

 Read the Class 12 NCERT textbook of Physics thoroughly. Understand the


chapters properly – every single concept without skipping anything.
 Remember, you must be able to visualize the various mechanism, processes,
experiments, etc. This is very important when it comes to Physics.
 Note down the important points for every chapter in a separate notebook
– definitions, short descriptions, formulas, diagrams, equations, etc.
 Understand the steps to solve problems from the example problems.
 Solve practice questions at the end of the chapter. Mark difficult questions to
revise/practice them later.
 Refer to CBSE sample papers available in the CBSE website and solve it.
 Be patient.
