Tourism in Yemen refers to tourism to Yemen.


Traditionally, Yemen has been a tourism centre for
centuries as it is at the middle of the trade routes of the
Middle East and the Horn of Africa. Tourism played a
fundamental role of the region in global .trade and has
remained so until the 20th century
Ghamdan Palace

The palace was built to be the residence of


the kings of Yemen and the administration
of the country's affairs, where Saif bin Dhi
Yazan was another of the palace's
residences. The palace reflects the
architectural grandeur in Yemen, as the
palace consists of twenty floors and was
built of granite and alabaster. The palace is

The Throne of Bilqis or the Temple of

Muharram Bilqis. It is a Sabaean temple
dedicated to the sun god “Ilmaqah” and
follows the Awwam Temple in terms of
importance and is known locally as “Al-
”Ameed

and celebrations, as Yemen is famous for the festivals that it holds on
an ongoing basis, and on various occasions and holidays. Among the
most important celebrations that are held in Yemen are the
celebrations of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and the Sana’a Summer
Festival. During festivals, residents perform folk dances, traditional

Yemeni cuisine is distinguished from Middle Eastern cuisine in that it •
is more diverse, but with a degree of regional variation. The most
common dish eaten throughout Yemen is rice and lamb.Yemen was
also classified as the first civilization to take the lead in the production
of jeans from leather, since ancient times, and sheep skins were used
