y 03 days National level workshop on Digital System & VLSI design was

organized by Electronics Department of RJIT w.e.f. 24th Sept 2008 to 26th Sept 2008. y IETE Techfest 08 a Technical paper presentation and quiz were organized by Electronics Department of RJIT on 23rd Oct 2008. y Automobile Department of RJIT conducted AUTO CAD, CATIA and Pro-E classes as a part of Software Training programme under SAE collegiate club of RJIT w.e.f. 05-02-2008 to 30-04-2008. y RJIT students Sabya Sachi Ghosh, Yogesh Shukla and Amit Sisodiya of B.E. Automobile Engg participated in Anveshan-09 , the student level research convention organized by Assiciation of Indian Universities, at RGPV Bhopal on 24-27 Jan 2009. They stood first in the first phase of the completion among institute of Madhya Pradesh.

RJIT has won runner-up trophy of Inter wing Basket ball Championship held at BSF Academy, Tekanpur. RJIT has won Shri Mant Rajmata Vijyaraje Scindhia Memorial, Rural Tennis ball Cricket Championship held at Capt. Roopsing International Stadium, Gwalior on 03 March 2009. The best bowler & best batsman was declared from RJIT team.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Three students of RJIT Automobile Engg Branch from 2nd,3rd & 4th year, stood first during the year 2008 and have been granted Chancellor Scholarship. During the year 2007-2008 over and above Master Rahul Shrouti student of B.E. Automobile Engg Final year and Master Laxman Pangeni (2007-08) have been awarded Gold Medal & Silver Medal for Automobile Engg.

CULTURAL AND LITERARY ACTIVITIES

ABHIVYANJANA-08 , the Annual Cultural fest of RJIT was organized on 28th March 2008. A number of colorful cultural programmes were organized. The toppers of the previous years and the winners of various sports, cultural and literary competitions were awarded by the Chief Guest. RJIT has stood 1st in Inter College Antakshari competition held at ABV, IIITM, Gwalior during AURORA-08 function. The students of RJIT stood first in Solo Song, Group Song, solo dance & play & stood second in modern play held at NITM, Gwalior during UTSAV-08 cultural fest. Recently the students of RJIT have won total 60 medals in athletics viz.. 17 old, 19 silver & 24 bronze at NRITM, Gwalior at Nodal Level Athletics Championship. Automobile Engg Department of RJIT celebrated Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Diwas 08 on 20-08-2008 under Renewable Energy Club of RJIT. Two students of Automobile Engg Department stood second in SAE student Convention 08 held on 11-01-2008 at PSG College Coimbatore. The students of RJIT participated in Aurora-09 held at ABV-IIITM Gwalior our team bagged the Consquislator s Cup. The trophy for the best participating team. They stood first in the skit competition & spontaneous dance and second in Treasure Hunt and Mr Aurora contest.
