FUEL FOR PERFORMANCE
 Eating the right kinds of food for 2 to 3 hours
before you exercise or train gives you enough
time for the body to digest and absorb the
food
 20 to 30 minutes after exercise or training is
the best time to eat because muscles absorb
nutrients most efficiently.
 Observing proper intervals of eating and
drinking can maximize your performance.

Refers to the consumption of
food not because of hunger but
because of emotional distress
or as a way to relieve or cope
with stress.

This happens during social gatherings or celebrations
