1. It is a play-that is, it is meant to be
performed or enacted. 2. It is a short play (of one act) as distinct from a long play (of three or five acts). 3. What is an Act? An act is a distinct main section of a play. 4. What are the elements of a one-act play? Setting – is the place, together with other conditions, such as time and the environment, involved in which the events occur. The setting can be presented through the visual element deals with the scenes, costumes, and special effects. The setting can as well be enhanced by using viewable elements, sound effects, and music.
