    WHAT IS LAW OF MOTION?


    Newton's laws of motion are three basic laws of classical
    mechanics that describe the relationship between the motion of
    an object and the forces acting on it.

    LAW OF INERTIA
    • Newton’s First Law of motion
    • An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion
    remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless
    acted on by an unbalanced force.

    EXAMPLE OF LAW OF INERTIA

    • If you move the card slowly,


    it isn't fast enough to
    overcome that force. If you
    flick it quickly, the coin stays
    in one place and then drops
    into the cup. An object at rest
    will remain at rest.

    LAW OF MASS AND


    ACCELERATION
    • Newton’s Second Law of motion
    • a force upon an object causes it to accelerate according to the
    formula net force = mass x acceleration. So the acceleration of
    the object is directly proportional to the force and inversely
    proportional to the mass.

    EXAMPLE OF LAW OF MASS AND


    ACCELERATION

    • If a baseball player
    hits a ball with
    double the force, the
    rate at which the ball
    will accelerate (speed
    up) will be doubled.

    • Newton’s Third Law of motion

    • when swimmer
    putting the water
    backward with his
    hand call this action
    and the water pushes
    the water forward
    through the water
    this is called
    reaction.
