    This study explored the lived experiences of senior high school students in Pilar National Agricultural High School who work while studying. Interviews and questionnaires were used to understand their experiences, challenges, and how they overcome problems. Most students said financial problems, family issues, and poor time management made working and studying difficult. However, with family support, friends, and good time management, students felt they could handle the challenges. The study recommends students balance their time, and schools and parents support working learners.

    LIVED EXPERIENCE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
    WORKING STUDENT IN BRGY. PILAR
    ABSTRACT
      This study explored the lived experience of
    the senior high school working students in
    Pilar National Agricultural High School. It also
    aimed to know and to identify the difficulties
    that they encountered while working and
    studying at the same time. It used qualitative
    design specifically phenomenological way to
    deal with data gathering.
    ABSTRACT
     Personal interviews direct observation
    questioners, were used in collecting information. It
    also used purposive sampling in selecting the
    twelve senior high school students who are
    working while studying during school year 2022-
    2023 at Pilar National Agricultural High School.
    Based from the participants’ answers, it is
    conformed that financial problem, family problem
    and time management are the driving forces when
    working while studying.
    ABSTRACT
     Moreover, it showed that the effective way of
    overcoming problems is through family and
    financial support and good time management.
    Therefore, the participants had a nice feeling
    and good experience. Further, it was
    suggested that students who are working
    while studying must have enough confidence
    and strong personality to handle task.
    RESEARCH QUESTIONS
    This study focused on the lived experiences of senior high
    school students who study and work at the same time.
    Specifically, this study will help us answer the following
    questions:
    1. What are your experiences as a working students?
    2. What are the problems encountered as a working students?
    3. How did you overcome the problems encountered?
    RATIONALE/BASIS
     This new work expands on discoveries from the sides
    to pick up a more profound comprehension of the
    motivations to work, the nature of work undertaken,
    and the difficulties and advantages of working while
    studying in higher education (HE) (Williams,2004).
     A study led by Endsleigh (2015), showed that eight out
    of ten (77%) understudies are now working part-time to
    help them in their financial needs in school. Filipino
    students are struggling because they have to meet the
    standards in their work so that they will not get a failing
    grade.

    Recommendations:
    The researchers are able to give recommendations to each
    person who is involved in this study.
     To the working students, you should balance your time or
    learn to manage it for you to be able to achieve your goals.
     To the school, they should be aware of the lived situation of
    their learners.
     To the parents, they should support their learners by
    providing them with allowance and other support in
    school.
