INTRODUCTION
• Security and safety have always become a basic necessity in the
present World to secure and guard the house in our absence.
• The fundamental idea is to design a cost effective and efficient
system for an individual to be able to detect any kind of theft in
real-time and provide instant notification of the theft to the house
owner.
• In this connection, we propose the IOT based Anti-theft detection
and alert system, which can alert the owner of the house. This
system secures offices/homes from theft by instantly detecting
theft as well as allowing user to view the theft details.
• In this system we use camera, as soon as camera motion is detected
then the system passes the information over IOT .Thus, the system
provides an innovative approach to theft detection using IOT.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
• Develop an IoT-based anti-theft flooring system using Arduino to
safeguard premises.

• The system should detect unauthorized intrusions through intelligent

sensors embedded in the floor, triggering real-time alerts via a connected
notification system.

• The Arduino platform will be responsible for sensor integration, data

processing, and communication with the IoT network to ensure a swift
response to potential theft or unauthorized access.

Dept. of CS&E,CIT,Ponnampet
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
ESP32-CAM:
• The ESP32-CAM is a cost-effective and versatile development
board equipped with both Wi-Fi and a camera module.

PIR(Passive Infrared )Sensor:

• The PIR sensor detects motion by sensing changes in infrared
radiation emitted by nearby objects.

IR(Infrared)Sensor:
• IR sensors can detect motion within a specific range, making
them suitable for detecting movement on the flooring area.

Arduino:
• Arduino is used in IoT-based anti-theft flooring systems
because it provides a flexible and programmable platform for
integrating sensors, connectivity modules, and actuators.
• Developers can easily interface with various sensors like
pressure sensors to detect footsteps, and then transmit this data
wirelessly to a central system or the cloud using IoT protocols
like Wi-Fi.

Buzzer:
• A buzzer is used in IoT-based anti-theft flooring systems to
sound an alarm when unauthorized footsteps are detected.

RESULT AND ANALYSIS

LED Indication:
• LED indications in an IoT-based anti-theft security system, the user can
quickly and easily determine the status of the system.

Photo Indication:
• By providing indication of photo activity in an IoT-based anti-theft
security system, the user can choose the most convenient way and stay
informed about any detected intruders.

BUZZER:
• A buzzer can also be used as an audible indicator in an IoT-based anti-
theft security system in order to alert neighbor’s of the house.

Dept. of CS&E,CIT,Ponnampet
CONCLUSION

• In conclusion, the IoT-based anti-theft flooring system

utilizing Arduino offers a robust solution for safeguarding
valuable assets.

• By integrating sensors with Arduino, real-time data on

unauthorized intrusions can be efficiently detected and
relayed to the user's device, enabling prompt action.

Dept. of CS&E,CIT,Ponnampet
FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

• Enhanced Security Features: Integrate advanced security

features such as biometric authentication or facial
recognition to prevent unauthorized access to the system.

• Geo-fencing: Incorporate geo-fencing capabilities to define

virtual boundaries, triggering alerts when the flooring system
detects movement outside of designated areas.

• Real-time Notifications: Notifications to alert users

immediately when any suspicious activity is detected and
notified through calls and emails.
