• Induce vomiting if patient is responding, did not

• The following facilities are available at IST for
Safety of individuals and premises during
emergency.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• All Laboratories at IST are equipped with PPEs
in order to protect the individuals.
Fire Alarm System
• A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and
warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon
monoxide or other emergencies are present.
• Almost all buildings of IST are equipped with fire alarm system.

• In IST Campus,385x Cameras are installed
for Safety and Security of entire Campus.

CCTV (closed-circuit television) is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed
but are monitored, primarily for security purposes.
MI (Medical Inspection) Room
First AID Boxes
• At IST campus in all Labs and Workshops, First
AID Boxes have been placed. Officials are also
trained to provide First AID assistance during
emergency.

• Unsafe water and lack of sanitation cause 80 % of
sickness and disease in the world.
•Keeping in view hygienic conditions, water
filtration facility is provided in IST.

• This is very important aspect of awareness.

• In order to sanitize walk through gates have
been provided at different places.
Solar Power as a Green Energy
IST has attained the capability of Solar
Power Generation by installing 0.8 MW
Solar Power Plant.
