when Construction is working by trades, Areas and Units

● An OPERCOM SubSystem is a subdivision of the installation that performs


a given operational function with no or little interference from the other
parts of the plant.

● The preliminary SubSystem breakdown is done during the Basic Engineering.


It is finalized right at the beginning of the detailed engineering,
before any process engineering activities.
It is built in parallel with the Start-Up Sequence.

Normally, Supplier drain the lubrication oil from equipment
before shipment
to avoid over flow during the transportation. Refill the
equipment a little bit for preservation if applicable.
