Open Air Museums ( OAMs)

profession of museum organization
and management.
• Museums:
A museum is a not- for – profit
permanent institution in the service
of society that researchers collects,
conserves, interprets and exhibits
tangible and intangible
heritage.
Introduction:
Open air museums are outdoor
spaces that showcase buildings
, structures and aircrafts in a
natural setting, providing visitors
with a hands-on experience of
history, culture and heritage .
Unlike traditional museums,
open air museums typically
feature reconstructed or
preserved historical buildings ,
often arranged to assemble a
village or town from a specific
time period. It allows visitors to
step back in time and
