Topology

• The map contains the following symbols, depending on the data


provided by your system.
– Fiber Node
– Splitter
– Tap with 2 ports
– Tap with 4 ports
– Tap with 6 or more ports
– Amplifier: The amplifier might or might not also contain a splitter.
– Service location having one MAC address.
– Service location having 2 or more MAC addresses. The number
shown on the house indicates the number of modems at the
service location.

Severity levels

• Critical :The most serious issues • Alarm


and alarms are marked Critical – Based on severity of issues that
