Market Opportunity
• For auto mechanicals there is a 3.5% growth rate in this field. With this growth rate
it shows you that there are probably plenty of small shops that are opening and
staying business.
• Just alone look at some of the small shops in towns and there are about a dozen of
them. There is always a need for work to be done on cars.
• As vehicles grow more complex and take specialty tools the normal buyer of a car
will no longer be able to work on them. They will be required to take it to a shop.
• On google trends there was quite a bit of overlap for words that were searched as
“local mechanic” and “dealership mechanic” a lot of times dealerships over charge
compared to a small shop. There seems to be an increase in small shops opening up.
• Just in a town of 30,000 people there are 12 different small shops that do auto
repair work and they all consistently stay busy.
