This traditional Q'ero Despacho Kit comes from the Shamans Market of Cusco, Peru. While many different kinds of Despacho kits exist, this one is specifically designed to be used in an Ayni Despacho ceremony of sacred reciprocity. This ethical tenet that guides the people of the Andes to live in sacred relationship with the Earth and with each other. Through this relationship they realize that all things exist as unique strands in "the great web of life."

It is a smaller Despacho (has fewer ingredients), yet contains all you need to create balance in your relationship with Pachamama, Mother Earth. Some items, such as crackers and cookies, may have sustained cracking or crumbling in transit. However, your intention sets the energy for the offering and is not diminished by such damage.

This box contains four different smudge sticks to sample and a shaman smudge bowl to lay them upon. Horns used to make our Shaman smudge bowls are only from animals that have died from natural causes. Many plants can be used as smudging herbs. We have sourced sustainably harvested fruit of the Pal Santo tree from trees on 40 acres of Pal Santo forest owned by the maker's family business in Loja, Ecuador. The fruit produces a rich, deep, citrus, balsamic, spicy, woody aroma in oil form.

This limited edition sacred oil is created in a scared space with healing intention and arboreal love from the finest Ecuadorian Palo Santo tree twigs, "the ones closest to heaven." Our partner is an alchemist with a deep spiritual connection to the Palo Santo tree. The aroma is citrusy with a few woody notes.
