 To identify opportunity through social media platform for
education industry.
 To explore agent marketing for education industry for
South African market.
GLOBAL ARCUS
 Global Arcus is the largest academic consultancy of India,
Global Arcus offers free counselling and scholarships to
international students looking to pursue full-time academic
studies, industrial training, summer projects, or internship in
India.
 Global Arcus is providing free counseling to international
students coming to India, help them get admission in reputed
universities and schools of India. Every international student
coming to India for study is getting free counseling through
Global ARCUS. We are associated with 100+ universities in
India.

 Research Design - Descriptive research design
 Data collection sources - A combination of primary data as
well as secondary data sources.
 Sampling Methodology - Convenience sampling
 Sample size - 31, Population Size - 50
 Sample Frame - Agents working for the organization.
 Statistical tool – Pie Chart
Scope of the study
 The scope of this research is limited to identifying the
opportunities through social media platform for Global Arcus.
 This study was conducted with an examination of how
company is expanding its horizon in South African market.
Limitations of the study
Proper collection of data becomes a problem due to time
constraints.
There is a potential for bias in the information provided by
respondents.
The study was based on a sample, so the results were not
absolute.
It is difficult to get response from people quickly .
Limited people to approach.
Data Interpretation
100% agents said YES means all are aware about company.
58.1% respondents came to know about company by social media,
16.1% by friends, 9.7% by family and by other 16.1%.
96.8% of agents are well known about distance learning education system.
93.5% of agents are using Global Arcus platform for aspirants.
45.2% of agents are using Facebook for targeting students, 19.4%
WhatsApp, 19.4% Instagram, and 16.1% use linkedin.
Most used platform by company to connect with agents are WhatsApp
48.4%, 22.6% Facebook, 16.1% LinkedIn and 12.9% other
Most effective solution for promotion of company is Social Media 80.6%
and print media is very less effective 19.4%.
83.9% of agents have trusted relationship with company and 16.1%
have not developed yet.
For targeting potential agents Social Media is Best as shown above
87.1% and 12.9% agents said no.
61.3% of respondents said that company is seems to be successful in
expanding its horizon by doing agent marketing through social media
platforms and 32.3% said may be and 6.4% said no.
Findings of the study
 All agents are aware about Global Arcus.
 Most of Agents Came to know about company through Social media.
 Almost all agents are well known by distance learning education
system.
 Almost all agents are using Global Arcus for Aspirants.
 Most of agents are using Facebook to target students.
 Whatsapp is most used platform by company to contacting with
agents.
 Social Media is nearby most effective solution for promotion of
company.
 Almost every agent have trusted relationship with company.
 Study shows that For targeting potential customer social media
platform is best.
 More than half respondents said that company is seems to be
successful in expanding its horizon by doing agent marketing in South
African market through social media platforms.
Suggestions
 Company should promote their services through mass media
as well as social media to increase people awareness.
 Many of the ventures of Global ARCUS are not very famous
like flying kids, pre school so company should make efforts to
increase people awareness about these also.
 Company should take regular feedback from customers for
improvement, company should do some innovative schemes
like discounts.
 Improve their site visibility through search engine
optimization.
Conclusion
 After Completing my Research I reached at a conclusion that
Social Media platforms specially WhatsApp and Facebook
is more effective in nature more than others because of its
direct interaction with Individuals.
 Company is using social media platforms to promote their
Products/services which are also cost effective.
 Companies also involves in other venture which makes them
Multi Services Company.
 For targeting the potential customer Social Media platform is
best.
 If social media platforms used in an appropriate manner it
can open the new doors of opportunities for you.
