About Teresa Torres
Teresa is a product discovery coach who helps teams gain valuable insights from their customer interviews, run
effective product experiments, and drive product outcomes that create value for their customers and their businesses.
She teaches teams how to connect the dots between their research activities and their product decisions, inspiring
confidence that they are on the right track. Recent clients include Allstate, Capital One, The Guardian, and Snagajob.
Before becoming a coach, Teresa spent the majority of her career leading product and design teams at early-stage
internet companies. Most recently, Teresa was VP of Products at AfterCollege, an Internet startup that helps college
students find their first job. She was CEO of Affinity Circles, an online community provider for university alumni
associations and a social recruiting service used by Fortune 500 companies. She also held product and design roles
at Become.com and HighWire Press. Teresa has a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and an MS in
Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.
About David Bland
David J Bland founded Precoil in 2015 to help corporations and startups find product market fit using lean startup, design
thinking and business model innovation. He’s helped launch new products and services at companies such as GE, Toyota,
Adobe, HP and Behr. Currently David is co-authoring a Wiley business book with Alexander Osterwalder on how to help
people test new business ideas. David’s spent over 10 years of his career scaling technology startups. Today he stays
connected to the startup scene by advising Backstage Capital and Draper University.

Product Advisor and Coach to companies seeking growth through product innovation. She has led more than 40 B2B
and B2C product teams. She was CPO at CareerBuilder and SVP, Product Management at Beachbody. She led
several verticals as a product and business leader at AOL. When she’s not building great products and product teams,
she enjoys writing and speaking to help others shorten their learning curves. She has an MBA from Duke University
and a BA from Pennsylvania State University.

Hannah went to The University of Chicago, where she majored in Environmental Studies with a concentration in
