For most of my adult life after college, I have been providing executive leadership for faith-based non-profit organizations focused in various ways on empowering and equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, self-confidence, and/or faith needed to live meaningful and service oriented lives. I have served as the CEO of two urban ministries in Grand Rapids, Michigan: 1.) Degage Ministries from 1982 - 1987 and 2.) Tall Turf Ministries from 1994 until 2013.
