Over the last 7 years, I have worked as a Pre-Employment Advisor at Adult Language and Learning . In this position I have assisted over 300 Newcomers with their integration into the Canadian labour market. My duties include facilitating workshops focusing on workplace culture, networking, soft skill improvement, interviewing and cover letter/resume development, along with helping clients one on one to reach their employment goals.
Another aspect of my current position is developing and delivering presentations, keynote addresses and training on the topic of Intercultural Competency in doing this over the last 5 years I have addressed over 2500+ individuals across Southwestern Ontario.
