The document discusses the use of various media technologies in the stages of research, planning, and production of coursework. These include using Blogger to create an engaging blog to present tasks and customize the blog's appearance. A variety of Web 2.0 tools were also used to present work creatively, including Prezi, Slideshare, Canva, and Padlet. For one research piece, an interactive Wordle was created by filming a time-lapse video of writing words and editing it on Final Cut with sped-up playback and added music.

Evaluation question 4
1. Evaluation Question 4
How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and
evaluation stages?
2. I had to use a variety of different
forms of technology in the
research, planning and
production of our final products.
4. I used the website Blogger to create a blog
which I used to present all the tasks I
completed for my coursework portfolio. As I
had used this programme for my coursework
last year, I was familiar with how it worked
and was therefore able to use it effectively
and utilize all the extra features it offers,
such as being able to customise my blog,
making it more interesting to look at the blog
itself as well as the work posted.
6. I used a variety of Web 2.0 tools in the
presentation of all of my work. I used
many of these tools for my coursework
last year such as Prezi and Slideshare, but
I also challenged myself to find other
tools that I had not used before such as
Canva and Padlet. This larger variety of
presentation tools made my work more
intriguing to look at.
7. I also tried to be more creative in the way I
presented certain pieces of research, for
example, instead of using an only tool such
as WordCloud to make a Wordle, I filmed a
time-lapse of myself writing out the different
words. Not only was this a more creative way
to present my work, it also allowed me to
work on my skills using other programmes.
For example, I would then upload the time-
lapse to Final Cut and I could speed it up a
little more and add music. As you can see, I
was then using three or four different skills in
a single piece of work rather than just one.
