The Access to Seeds Index aims to encourage the seed industry to enlarge its role in empowering smallholder farmers to grow their business. The Index measures and compares the efforts of the world’s leading seed companies to enhance the productivity of the smallholder farmer. By creating transparency and identifying leadership and best practices in the industry, the Index seeks to benchmark and improve the performance of these companies over time.
