This document provides information and examples about stem and leaf diagrams and how to calculate the mode, median, mean, and range of data presented in this form. It explains how to construct a stem and leaf diagram by placing the tens digit in the stem and the ones digit in the leaf. Examples are given of calculating the mode as the most frequent number, the median as the middle number for even/odd data sets, the mean as the average, and the range as the highest number minus the lowest number.
