Children’s Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation
This is the treatment center for mentally disturbed children where they live together to get regaining their mental 
health. It may be thought that it is a very special building when I write so, but it is truly rich life space that requested 
in origin like a large house and also like a small city, the intimacy of a house and also the variety of the city.
Purpose : Sustainable and efficient spaces arrangement to accommodate different users in Phase 2 of Belum Rainforest Resort. 
Objectives 
• To study on how a space work to 
accommodate different types if users in 
Belum Rainforest Resort. 
• To identify the spatial placement of a space 
for its purpose. 
• To identify the private, public and semi-public 
spaces. 
• To identify the factors affecting the spatial 
layout. 
• To identify what poetic experience are used to 
attract and serve different users. 
• To identify how the architect design a space that 
can bland into nature to achieve sustainability. 
• To identify what kind of users need what kind of 
spaces. 
• To identify the needs of all users. 
• To identify the different users in Belum Rainforest 
Resort. 
• To identify the spatial arrangement used by 
the architect when designing the building. 
• To compare with the other building done by 
another architect. 
• Identify the reason why architect place the 
spaces in such a way. 
• Study the advantages and disadvantages of 
the spatial layout used.

To attract people to come over to the place, they 
must have the spaces ready for the users.

Conclusion 
Hence, by selecting a effective spatial arrangement can contribute to the circulation and activities happening around Belum Rainforest Resort to achieve 
sustainability. By well space planning and arrangement, no abandoned space appear on site which helps to improve the aesthetic value and help in 
conserving natural environment for a better tomorrow.
