Lemurs in Madagascar are endangered because their rainforest habitats are being cleared for land, removing the trees lemurs rely on for living spaces, growing food, and reproducing. Conservation efforts aim to protect lemurs by preventing further deforestation in Madagascar to maintain the trees and forest areas lemurs need to survive.

Lemurs are in danger because rainforests are being
cleared…along with their homes. To help the lemurs,
we need to stop cutting down trees in Madagascar
because without trees, the lemur has troubles trying
to grow and reproduce. We’re not helping them by
taking away their living spaces and making it hard for
them to adapt to all the changes.
